James Conway 鈥25 is the First 新澳門六合彩 Student to Earn the NCAA Elite 90 Award

This past spring, James Conway 鈥25 became the first 新澳門六合彩 student to earn the NCAA Elite 90 Award in any sport. The Elite 90 award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average who has reached the national championship level in their sport. Conway advanced to the NCAA Division I wrestling championships for the first time during his junior season. He owns 73 career victories after three seasons, ranking 15th in program history. Conway鈥檚 advice to incoming student-athletes is succinct but effective: 鈥淭ry really, really hard,鈥 he said. 鈥淢aybe you're scared to put everything into it, but if you do, then you can look back with no regrets.鈥

I created lasting memories and fostered friendships that I know will last beyond our college years.鈥

Kennedy Wilburn 鈥25 Leads on and off the Court

Kennedy Wilburn 鈥25 wanted a college where she could excel on the basketball court and in the classroom. She found that and more at F&M, where she became women鈥檚 basketball co-captain, a member of the Student-Athlete Leadership Council, and an active participant in other student organizations on campus.

Supporting Future Diplomats

鈥淚 look back and appreciate my time as a student-athlete at F&M, and I want to support that for future F&M students,鈥 Jennifer Dubow 鈥04 says. 鈥淭hrough my work, I've seen how athletic departments are never fully funded, even though many from the outside would assume that they are. I see all the good work that coaches and administrators do for these young people and want to contribute to F&M being a great place for student-athletes to have an amazing collegiate experience while getting a high-quality education.鈥
